The Scotch Whisky Centre is next door to the famous Edinburgh Castle in the heart of Edinburgh.  Here you will have an interactive experience as you learn about the 300 year old history of Scotch Whisky.

Here you start of (if 18 or over) with a taste of Scotch and get taught how to drink it properly and then you discover how they make Scotch whisky.  Then there is a ride which explores the history of Scotch and all through the experience the staff will be there to answer your questions and provide further information on Scotland’s national drink, Scotch.

The tour is not the only activity on offer, you can also book a tasting session where you will be trained in whisky tasting by one of the professionally trained staff.  This session includes how to tell which region a specific malt is from (there are five regions that produce scotch) and also you will learn how to tell a high quality whisky from a lower quality one.  The tasting session usually lasts for a couple of hours.
